Texas A&M Hires Brian Polian from Stanford...

as a ST coach and recruting coordinator. He did a great job at Stanford to help assembly the talent they have. He is the son of Bill Polian recently fired GM of the Colts. Comes from a great football family...looks to be a great hire.

Very impressive recruiter while at Notre Dame. Pulled in lots of 4* and 5* recruits. Very good hire IMO.

Good point BobAg....he actually brought in several five star players to ND. ND is where he made it name as a top-flight recruiter.

his name came up last yr before LSU hired MacGaughey from NYG. Lot of CA connections, but ST's weren't all that impressive from what I recall. Can aTm pull kids from CA on the reg?

He recruited and coached all of Luck's favorite targets (Stanford's TEs)
We haven't had decent TE play since Martellus Bennett and Joey Thomas. They were good DESPITE the coaching though.

A&M used to get guys from Cali in the RC era. Two big-time running backs were from Cali...Joe Weber and Sirr Parker.

yeah he is tremendous and once he went to stanford he started taking away studs from ND.
