Good player, but not difficult to replace
You are out of you're fricking mind. Sam has heart and desire that doesn't grow on trees.
I bet you think tm7 is easy to replace too

Why would anyone leave this team early?
These guys are so close as a team and could possibly do a repeat of 2011.
You'd have to be off your head to leave.

If Sam was a sure first rounder he would be smart to go. If not, probably in his best interest to come back. He is one of the few defensive players who is just fun to watch. Usually that is reserved for offensive players.

Yeah, I think people are taking our young class for granted. The trench is the last place you'd typically want a younger guy. We're just fortunate to have a lot of young talent that can perform. I wouldn't bank on having another young class going undefeated.

Is anywhere reliable reporting this?

Not that I'm aware of. Hope the board doesn't turn on him if he decides to go.

Montgomery, who had been off limits for interviews for several weeks
Does anyone know the reason he's been off limits for interviews?

While this is good news, it's not like the guy can't change his mind. I'll say this though, if he and Brockers return, that could end up being the best d-line in the history of college football. 3 great players returning who are starters, Mingo who has had a great year, Downs and Edwards are solid, Ferguson will only get better and who knows how good Johnson and Rasco will be by the time the season starts next year. That will be sick.

How much more reliable do you need.? It came from his own mouth.

There is a very good free article on the front page of Tigerbait.com the LSU rivals board.
Montgomery said he is coming back to lead the D next year.
Can't link on DROID.

Why is this a surprise? Any RS Sophomore who thinks he should leave now is dumb. Nobody will be first-round picks.

What about Logan on the DL (our starter)?
