I know people don't think Wing will leave early, but I follow his twitter where he CONSTANTLY bashes the American education system.

He doesn't understand why he has to learn subjects that are not exactly what his major is. He continues to say that he hates school. If he was told he could get a roster spot, even if it was free agent, then I wouldnt be surprised for him to leave school. He doesnt really care about a degree.

I think you have a good point that can't be overlooked. Wing loves playing football at LSU, he despises school work though.
From my Aussie perspective, I can see why the school side of things is less than a priority.
Imagine travelling to the other side of the world, becoming a huge sensation, being extremely popular, chasing tail, having an amazing first season etc. etc. and then when the season is over, you are back to school work.
It sucks.
Especially for someone who doesn't really need a US college Education to fall back on.
LSU have to manage Wings next season carefully.
The Honeymoon is over.

One of Wings first comments, when first playing for LSU, was that he liked the idea of not running as much as Australian football.

Keehn on the other hand has a huge work-ethic and is versatile. (He may be able to hold down the other kicking duties as well)

The efforts to teach Australians to punt an American football, have grown enormously the last few years. Prokick Australia, has been advertising extensively during major tv sports programs and obviously it is now paying off.
Brad Wing, arrived at LSU via other means. (US High School)
At least a dozen Aussies have signed/committed over the last year, and more to come in the next few days.
:dude:
What a sad, sad, sad, pathetic man you are Crimson Flaming.
You insult your own player and an entire culture, in one stupid post.

LSU and fans are miles ahead of Bama in the mentally prepared department.

No excuses, no tricks, LSU know they are the best and will make Bama cry.
You will also cry like a baby next year, when LSU repeat it.

Prepare for years of mental anguish Bama!

Why would anyone leave this team early?
These guys are so close as a team and could possibly do a repeat of 2011.

You'd have to be off your head to leave.

:geauxtigers:
Melbourne, Australia.
Game starts around noon, Summer holidays so no work. Brad WIng on the news every night, so interest slowly growing here for big game.

:geauxtigers:
Brad Wing has been getting press here in Australia.
I'm sure it will be news in 3 and a half days if he plays a big game.

Never got to see Brad or his father play.
David Wing never got to play senior football in Melbourne, but did have a brief career at East Perth.

Here are some highlights.
