couple things I gathered from Derek's radio interview.
He claims LC has known all along where he wants to go and that LC for some reason, either wanted or needed to develop drama for his commitment at the UA game. Says a kid from Dtown going to LSU= no drama, so drama needed to be made up. Maybe that is why one staff is getting played and all they twitter BS to create drama with his old lady.
Said his real mom lives in NOLA and he lives with his dad right now and LC stated a long time ago in an interview that being somewhere they could watch him was a big time factor.
Mentioned working Dtown games on radio was great for getting inside knowledge to the recruiment of LC. I guess his stance is coming from people at Dtown or LCs family members from meeting them during the broadcasts.
Compared this recruitment to Marquise Hill. La kid that was belvied to be all michigan but pulls the switch for LSU, which is a theory I have been hoping for, for awhile now. LC wanted to create a false sense that he was headed elsewhere then pull the switch and be a hometown hero.

Very true, but why would he say otherwise? If he committed to Bama OR LSU for that matter, why would he come out and say: "Yep, he committed to ______"?
Perhaps he could have acknowledged that a commitment had been made but not say to which school, but then it'd be pretty easy to figure out, no?
Just some hopeful thoughts on my part...

Neither coaching staff has been informed of his decision. They will know on national TV.

ITS almost 2pm and no real info flowing today. This thing "Appears" to have already gone down. I think he will not switch his commitment after 2nite either.
