Only outdoor game during the second half of the season (when our defense stepped up):

Our players can't breathe when they're out in the sun.

I had a coworker who got sun poisoning and was medically discharged from the military for it. I'm surprised these guys can practice during OTAs/ preseason camps with the same disease!

... it's always the perception from the national media about dome-based teams.

Said the same thing about Atlanta back in '03 and we went to GB and spanked em becoming the first team to ever beat GB AT GB in the playoffs. I remember it snowing like mad too.

Again - just perception. Reality is that the better team that given Saturday/Sunday will when - doesn't matter where.

I love the hate the D gets, yes we blitz alot and it's uneffective sometimes but they make plays when we need them.

If anything, Green Bay could be the team most adversely affected by poor weather bc:

1. They defense is really bad in any weather
2. They have a poor running game coupled with OL injuries. When weather is bad it is vital to be able to run

What year did we go to Buffalo and beat them in 8 degree weather and snow?

I don't get this statement at all. Don't they practice outside? Talking heads just like to look for things to rationalize and justify what they say.

I just read on PFT that we are 18-7 on the road in the last 3 seasons, which is the best record for any team in the NFL right now. Anyone care to confirm? I'm too lazy

They all need a meme. In 09, our defense was opportunistic. They even said it throughout 10, even though we weren't getting turnovers. We were just playing solid defense.

It's the outdoors thing this year. They'll point to the last moments of the Titans game, but we did a similar thing against Atlanta indoors.

ETA: If I had to describe our defense this year, it would be fast and loose between the 20's, and tight in the redzone. Or better yet, loose in the first half, and tight in the second half.

Everyone in the media is expecting a shootout, but the last shootout we were involved in was the Texans game. Our defense is much better now, and we haven't been letting teams get into a track meet with us.

Hashtags spilling over into everything else is getting annoying imo...

2011: 5-3
2010: 6-3
2009: 7-1 (plus neutral site for SB)

Sums to 18-7. Haven't looked at the rest of the league, though.

All 3 losses in virtually perfect weather/playing conditions. STL - indoors and GB/TB -perfect weather outdoors.
