In pre-season, What odds would you have given us to be undefeated ?

I would have said 1/5. As in, fairly unlikely.
This is a memorable season.

Much lower than that.

prior to the season, i said i'd have been happy with a 2 loss season given our schedule, my confidence in the QB play, and thought a couple teams would be better than they ended up being. odds of us going into the season were not good at all

Before the season started; I predicted 10-2 and 11-1 at best.

Looking at that schedule, didn't even consider undefeated season.

I never thought about being undefeated. I thought 10-2 at best. Been a wonderful season.

I would have said less than one in twenty.

i also thought we'd duplicate last years record but have a much better team. What i didn't count on was that so many SEC teams would be so bad. Florida was suppose to be better, Miss.St. better, Auburn good but not better, Tennessee better. The fact is they all sucked.

Before the season my Dad, my Brother and myself had this discussion. I predicted undefeated, NC....(thinking the Bama game could trip us up). My Dad said as would lose 1-2 games. My brother said we lose 4 games. Last season I was on the money also.

I would have assigned the following odds to beat...
Oregon 3/5
Miss St 4/5
WVU 7/10
Bama 1/2
Rest of schedule 1/2
SECCG 3/5
Multiplying them yields 5.04% or about 1 in 20. Good guesses LSunutinno and Hoya Saxa!
If you throw in 1/2 odds for the BCSCG it's 2.5% or 1 in 40.

In my OP, I considered putting 1/10. But, really, in context of few teams really run the table, maybe it should have been 1/100.
What makes these guys so exciting is how they have busted on the scene.
I remember like it was yesterday watching Eric Reid here in Nashville lay out that Vandy player at the end of the game. He looked like a monster in the secondary. He has been a real force along with the other big time underclassmen.
I don't see a drop off next year.
