Sorry man, I really did look at the 1st 2 pages to make this wasn't posted yet. Somehow I missed your post, probably because I'm not fully awake yet.

I really hope he has a great game against the Gumps

Great story.
quote:
"I've seen people just start jumping out of the way of this guy, literally," Richt said before his team gave up 207 rushing yards in a 42-10 loss to LSU. "I've seen him bury guys," Richt said. "I've seen him wear people down. By the end of the game, they want nothing to do with him. I've never seen a fullback quite as physical as this kid. ... He's a big man, and he's very agile."

Copeland is a stud. He erases linebackers with ease. I wonder if they'll ask him to drop a few pounds in the offseason to get a little quicker.

The main thing I pulled from the piece is that Bama is not scared.
He says he is gonna bring it, let's hope.

"They didn't want to hit at all. ... Before I got to them, they just fell down and just laid on the ground," Copeland said.
"That was like the only game I went home and had no nicks and bruises at all."

Nothing more fun than seeing a LB or DB erased. You have to watch behind the play and DVR it, but trust me it is so worth it if you love football. If you are watching the play going forward you almost never see it.

Man don't worry if it's "Germans" or not. Post what you want. Better than a lot of crap on here!

My favorite part of this whole year is the part of the Kentucky game where cameras were picking up on one of the fullback's battle cry as he went out to turn people into mush..i think it was copeland but I can't quite remember.
Like 3 straight plays you could pick him up just yelling then SMACK and a guy is dust.

it was him. I've been looking for a highlight of him doing it, but everyone kept saying it was him.

Copeland eliminates defenders. I hope he can eliminate ALabama just the same.

Fullbacks, tight ends enjoy being behind scenes There are some nice quotes from "Fullbacks James Stampley and J.C. Copeland and tight ends Deangelo Peterson, Chase Clement, and Mitch Joseph" in this article also.
