Today is a very sad day for me. While at work I began to have trouble with vision in my right eye, I left work and went to ER, after many test and being sent to a specialist in Lafayette, I was diagnosed with Choroidal Melanoma, A rare form of Cancer in my right Eye. Oddly enough, the 1st thought that came to mind was " Am I gonna have to miss the game, or will I live long enough to see it" the prognosis is poor. This is not a pity thread. It really is that important to me to see this game.

Don't know if you had many options with it being a rare type but good decision. Best of luck.

Already said a prayer for you. I pray for you to have peace with what is going on and for the doctors to have the wisdom to treat you properly and quickly. Don't get discouraged, cancer is not the end-all it used to be.

When and if it is your time, take solace in knowing there are an awful lot of Tiger Fans watching from afar. I've sent quite a few of my elders off with a bit of Purple and Gold for the journey.

I'm so sorry for you. We recently lost a family member to ocular Melanoma. I hope that both you and Dandy Don get to see the Tigers hoist the crystal in January. Best of luck.
