Why are there so many freckled ginger/red-headed people in Alabama? Seriously. Every pic I see has them in it. Is it Irish/Scottish decent?
Everything is red over there. The school colors, the people, the dirt, their necks. It's a little overwhelming.

As the voice of reason in this thread I should say LSU fans have no room to talk about the looks of other teams fans. Alabama included.

Yes, in both Georgia and Alabama there is a large percentage of people of Irish and Scottish ancestory. Red-haired people aren't just Irish and Scottish ancestory. They are also German, Russian, English, French, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, etc.
