I believe the Saints would have to lose out and Atlanta win out. Pretty sure Saints own the tie-breaker.

The only way for us to lose the division is if we lose all 3 remaining games and they win their last 2. If we are tied with the Falcons. We win the tie breaker, which would be best record in common games.

Actually, that is not completely correct. We would lose the division if we win Sunday and lose the last two, if Atlanta wins out. In that scenario they would win the tie breaker based on division record which is ahead of record against common opponents. This is all hypothetical, of course, because the Saints are going to win out, be the 2nd seed, win the NFC against Green Bay, and beat the Ravens to win Superbowl XLVI.

I plugged this scenario into the ESPN playoff machine and it still put the Saints as division winners.

ATL wins division : If the Falcons win out, and the Saints lose to Atlanta and Carolina. Minnesota game (win or loss) has no effect on division race.

Tebow vs Breesus in the holiest superbowl thus far.. fitting because this will be the last one before the end of the world.
