Fixin to spend 8 straight days in the woods!!!

I havent hunted more than just the weekends since college and thats been 8 years ago, I'm not gonna know what to do with myself having 8 days in a row to hunt. I will also get a chance to hunt with my dad, I havent done that in about 5 years. I cant wait! To top it all off the rut should be in full swing in central Mississippi. Good luck to everybody over the Christmas holidays,

Well the next two weeks is a perk to being a school teacher. I am going to have the next two weeks off and going to hunt in Mexico the week between Christmas and New Years.

I've got now until at least Jan 1, maybe longer depending on the weather, wide open. Going to be a great 2+ weeks. Front moving through after tonight, full moon is leaving, going to be nice weather, rut will be on, and gun season opens back up.

Where exactly in Central Mississippi? Starting Saturday I will be hunting in Monticello, MS for 4 days. I'v heard a couple of people say they should be in rut. First time in MS hunting and I'm pretty pumped.

Yes they should be starting to chase this next week, I went last weekend and there were fresh scrapes everywhere, good luck to you.
