What Fishermen use a Food Saver to keep their fish fresh and if so, which brand do you use and how well does it work?
I'm looking at getting a FoodSaver 2840 to freeze my fish instead of ziploc bags of water.

I have the game saver plus turbo and have been happy with it so far. You can put a shitload of fish in your freezer with a vacuum bagger.

I've had a foodsaver for several years. There's one with a wet/dry setting that works pretty well but not great. I suggest freezing the filets first before sealing them and you won't have to worry about getting moisture into the system.

Go as big as your budget will allow. I've burned out the small models. I have a Cabela's CG 15 and love it.

I don't store anything in the freezer if it is not vacuum sealed. Im not sure of the model but I use the one with the wet/dry setting. For really wet items you need to flash freeze them first or pat dry with a paper towel prior to trying to seal.

yep.
Having one that will have a gentle vacuum setting ins nice too if you want to freeze berries.
