They say it's very tough to beat the same team twice in a season, but...

according to the Gumps, we really didn't win the 1st meeting. So, technically, according to the them, they would be attempting to beat us a 2nd time.
This means the odds of us winning on Jan 9th are better according to Gump logic.

I think it is rare that both teams come in with such a chip on their shoulder. Bama lost, and wants to win, LSU won and is getting 0 credit for it. The game apparently didn't matter.

Yeah, I live in Alabama and have a big LSU sticker on the back glass of my truck. The Gumps love to roll down their window's at a red light and tell me "We are going to beat your arse this time". I just smile and say "See you in New Orleans MOTHER F**KER".
