I was lucky enough to draft Rogers in my Money league. I made the playoffs and have a game next week.. With Rogers playing KC and the chance that they will sit him in the 2nd half with a BIG lead. I put in a waiver claim for LOCKER.

Who would bench rogers for locker???? ANY thought would be appreciated??

If they have a big lead, doesn't that mean he's had a good game?

could you live with yourself if Locker sucks and Rodgers has a good game?

don't be stupid. Start Rogers. If they have a big lead it will be because they torched them, which means he'll have good numbers

He will most likely get his 2 TD passes in early, but then I expect a heavy dose of Grant, Starks, and Kuhn. However, his defense could get him a nice lead with some pick 6s and he wouldn't need to put up huge stats... Atleast that's what im hoping for since I'm facing AR this week.

But OP, just start him. It's your best bet.

Not necessarily with their qb play and the GB pic off machines back there, you could have 7-14pts on defense alone. Add in 175yd 2tds for Rodgers, 2 goaline TD for Kuhn, Grant.

KC offense with a 28-35pt deficit at half + GB locking up #1seed at half = Flynn and running game taking it over.

It really depends how much of a gamble you want to take.

Some other possible free agents (in order of who I believe will score most)
Andy Dalton vs St Louis
Rex Grossman vs NYG
Matt Moore vs BUF
TJ Yates vs CAR
Christian Ponder vs Saints

Locker hasn't had as much play time as the others, also Chris Johnson could run all over them.

Dalton is going against fricking St. Louis and he is almost as good as Cam minus the run ability.

Matt Moore has been playing good until last week and he goes against that weak Buf D.

TJ Yates went 300 2tds against a top 5 D and he has the hapless Panthers D this week(but forgot that their run D is worse than pass D, might not be a good option)

Romo just torched NYG, and Grossman has not been bad this year. I expect high scoring something around 28-31.

spoken like true novices

you should off yourself if you start Locker over Rodgers.

Green Bay has been blowing people out all year and they still only have 7 rushing TDs.

Look, if you happened to watch their MNF game vs Minn a few weeks ago, it was 31-7 in the 4th Quarter and GB had the ball inside the 10. they threw the ball 3 straight times until they scored again. Think about that. That is all you need to know.

their running game is non existant even if they are winning big against a shitty team.

Like I said, if the guy wants to take a gamble. But I will bet you that Dalton will have the same game or better against St. Louis. This game also locks up their #1 seed. Why waist an injury to Rogers when the first round bye is in hand?

THere you go bringing actual sense and rational thought in to this thread. First sign of any whatsoever.

Why take a gamble removing the #1 player in all of fantasy for a rookie QB who had 2 good quarters against a so-so defense?

its stupid.

Ive never seen a team sit a guy this early in the season for an extended period of time. If anything they'll leave him in long enough to make sure they win the game.

18-20pts is almost a given even if he sits a quarter. Why risk throwing a rookie out there who at the max will get 20 pts, but could also shite the bed and give you single digits?

its stupid to even entertain sitting Rodgers

What are you bumping exactly?

Are you going on record saying Dalton and Locker will outscore Rodgers?

I'm going on record saying that Dalton will match Rodgers who I think will only go 250 2tds at most if he gets a third so be it, but I am staking my claim that Dalton will either match or out score him.

Andy dalton hasn't outscored Rodgers in any single week this year.

On average Rodgers scores 15 more points that Dalton week to week. (6 pt per pass TD league)

If Rodger's PPG were scaled down to only 3 quarters worth of football, he'd still outscore Dalton by 7 points on average, per week.

I don't know how you can call anyone stupid.
