What PS3 headset should I get?

I'm not sure if I want over the ear headphones and a mic (like the turtle beach sets) or just a Bluetooth earpiece.
Which ones (of both types) should I look at?

i have the ps3 bluetooth headset 2, and it works just fine for me, have never used the turtle beach ones, other than testing them out in the stores, but they are two totally different types of headsets, you should decide what you are trying to get out of the headsets first and then go from there

I don't have that headset, but I have heard people say they like it a lot. So, there's that.

There's a huge difference between the bluetooth mic and the headset.
I picked up the headset linked, and it's worlds better than just a mic. With the headset, you won't have the mic picking up the sound from your TV creating excess noise, and you can play games/watch movies without disturbing others.

If I had a PS3 I would get them for the 7.1 dolby surround and for $80...that's not bad at all. When I got my turtle beaches, I paid around $100 for the wireless x31s and they don't even have the dolby

Tiamat 7.1 is for PC according to the website.
It's also analog and said you need a 7.1 sound card to get the benefit.
If it's for ps3 contemplate triton ax pro (much better than turtle beach but wired) or astro a40
