Heard some really good things about it. It's pricey for sure. Anyone ever try it?

I've been a few times. It's usually good, the menu changes from week to week so you can never tell exactly what they'll have except for the breakfast stuff and the shrimp and grits, which I've always found to be delicious. You're right about it being pricey though and on holidays they raise it even more. We were in town for Easter and wanted to go but for $80/person, we decided to walk that idea off.

Eaten at the brunch buffet at Royal Sonesta dozens of times. It's pretty good. Word is that they may be phasing it out. I think Le Pavillon on Poydras may edge them out a bit in my most recent visits. On another note I hit up the 8 Block buffet at Hyatt which was a great value at $13.95 a person.

That is my family's go to place for mothers/fathers day. It is pretty decent.
