I think you said it all right there. I can and have been a serious critic of LSU at times when they won, but I thought they were outplayed. The UGA regular season game in 03 was a prime example. At that time, even though I felt they could win the rematch, I did think they were outplayed in the original.

But Nov 5? I'm just not seeing it. Two things I keep repeating:

1) Was I hallucinating or did LSU not make a few mistakes and leave some points out there of their own? Two ints...one that took Bama well into LSU territory. Shep falls down for no apparent reason after the long catch. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't RR drop a very catchable ball right after that? And Miles got very conservative at the end of regulation after we crossed midfield.

2) This is my biggest point...why do all the "experts" just assume everything else that happened in the game would have happened exactly the same way if Bama makes any of the FGs? Maybe Miles gets more agressive at the end of the 1st half drive. He defintely gets more agressive at the end of regulation. And oh yeah, maybe it's just my outside the box thinking, but you think he MIGHT go for the win in OT if Bama had made their FG instead of clearly playing for a FG once Ford got us inside the 10?

At some point he did, and yeah I had forgotten about Shep falling down for no reason.

That is exactly what im saying to all these gumps! i mean if you made those field goals who says that we are going to play conservative the rest of the game?
