Really?!? Ahhh, spoken like a true LSU elitist!! Why don't take a look at our Shitty Team record?

Listen, much respect for La Tech this year and I mean that sincerely. I'm happy that baby brother can have a solid season and win the WAC over any other team in that conference.

But c'mon...there's a large difference between La Tech and #'s 3-10 in the SEC, and there's a large gap between the top 2 teams in the SEC and the 3-10 teams this year.

Let's just keep it in reality.

back on topic, HOWBOUTDEMTIGAHS makes the winning argument. LSU's special teams all around is so solid that you can't just say Wing is responsible for his return average.

Wing is a BEAST, IMO one of the best in the nation easily. He'll be there next year if he does half as well as this year...but there's a reason La Tech takes home Ray Guy and Baylor takes home Davey O'Brien...because those people stand out from their teammates.

Wing has made games very tough on opponents, but how many times have we RELIED on him to make or break the game. Outside of Bama he's been bells-and-whistles on an already well oiled machine. We haven't needed him to save us.

Again let me just reiterate I'm not bashing Wing. I think he's probably the best punter in the nation...he's ridiculously accurate and his stats speak for themselves.

I'm just saying that award show material, he's not this year because people like TM7 and MC17 make the "game-saving" or "game-changing" plays on a weekly basis vs. just once (Bama massive boot)
