Skyrim - 360 - Ok to install now?

Just finished exams and somehow I made it this long holding out on what should be a great game.
I remember people bitching when it first came out that when you installed it to the hard drive, the textures were all fricked up or something.
Has this been fixed?

I didn't have any problems a few days ago. Ol lady wont quit whinning bout me playing it.

I'm still not going to install because in order to do it I'd have to download the new patch. I haven't had any problems whatsoever and I'm afraid to take the chance with all the new problems the new patch created.

I have still not installed the new patch

I was having a few times when the buffer stream wouldn't stay ahead of my actions.. (I like to fast travel a lot, and farm a lot) so I just decided to install it. I haven't had any problems with the new patch.

I've played the shite out of it on my 360 since the midnight release.
Just be sure to go ahead and wish your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year before you start playing it because you will probably lose all track of time.
