NFC Championship caliber?

Playoff caliber?

Losing to GB in the NFC Championship game seems most realistic to me. But can you see this team going all the way?

the thing about green bay, they seem to make about 3-5 passes and catches a game that are game changing, unfricking believable, and back breaking. These receivers manage to hold on to balls as if their hands are fricking dripping with stick'em. These few key plays continue to be the difference between them and everyone else in the league.

Yes we're Super Bowl caliber. I'd be shocked if it wasn't us or the Packers going to the Super Bowl.

I actually agree with that. I would also say its Rodgers who consistently gets the ball in the tightest spots for them to catch.

+1

I contend that Green Bay has one of the best receiving corps in the league. Definitely the best YAC corps. Jordy Nelson is a boss after the catch, and they all have very sure hands. Rodgers' accuracy and their receivers are what make them so tough.

I would be shocked if the Saints and Packers are not in the NFC Champ. Weather could play a factor, but I like the Saints chances now that they are starting to run the ball better.

That's the one thing the Saints have going for them that the Pack do not, a great running game. As far as YPC goes the Saints are 4th in the NFL, Green Bay is 29th. That may come back to haunt them at some point. Old logic was you have to run the football to win in the playoffs, but clearly that has been somewhat dispelled over the last decade, but as good as Rodgers and those WR's are its doubtful that the running game issues would catch up with the Pack.

Probably, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 49ers made a run. They run the ball and play good defense--recipe for success in the playoffs. Especially in the cold of San Fran or Green Bay. They actually might match up better with Green Bay than we do. We REALLY need to get that 2 seed.

We are, but I'm not sure we can win on the road in the playoffs with our defense

The Packers should have lost to the damn Giants -- a team we crushed

GB is not invincible

I hope we play the Packers in Lamebeau in the NFC champ game when they are still undefeated.

The saints and green bay are closer than people think. That first quarter of that game was one of the worst, If not the worst quarter of football we've played all season. Plus we have more and better running backs, and an offensive line infinitely better than week one

this is the way i see it.... offense is a toss up, defense goes to us, special teams is close but i give it to green bay very narrowly. only intangible is playing at lambeau. if we can overcome dat shite, we headed to the ship

Lambeau field is going to be a deciding factor. If its snowing, it's going to be hard.
