Neil Callaway should be the obvious choice for USM

If Gus turned down Vandy and Ole Miss I doubt he is interested in Southern Miss.

Possibly, but he would've been setting himself up to fail at the aforementioned IMO.
He could do well at Southern without SEC pressure in his first headcoaching gig not high school related.

I think he could win 8 to 10 games a year at Southern Miss.

I could see Gus at USM, I thought he might go to houston when Sumlin leaves but he could definitley win at USM. We might end up trading OC's if that happens.

Yeah, and his recruiting base would still be MS/AL/LA/AR
Might not be that far fetched.
What was Fedora making there?

As far as Winning goes, it is the best job in Mississippi. By far the best team in Miss this year.

It's like you just try and make the most obvious statement possible sometimes. Of course he wants the job...
