The reason this argument and the NYG New England rematch talk doesn't apply is that in College Basketball there is a playoff called march Madness which we should have in NCAAFB but we don't. For Duke and UNC to play in the final 4 they have to "earn" it on the court not get awarded the seeding due to someone's opinion.
The NYG New England Super Bowl rematch doesn't apply to LSU Bama because they are not in the same division, or conference. All teams in the NFC that the Giants beat got left at home.

That statement is 100% against a LSU/Bama championship game, can't figure out why they have been so quick to use it every time. Giants earned their spot.
As far as who is #2, it could be Ok St. Thats why the game is played though. I would venture to say close to 100% agree LSU is the #1 team in the country. Alabama has argued for the #2 spot, so why do we need a game? Because you have to win it on the field, not on boards.
