No. Probably never will be. This is LSU, our fans expect perfection and are notoriously fickle.

I don't really like it, but it's the way it is. He'll never be immune from criticism, but the more he wins the harder it is to attack him. People just have to find more insignificant things to bitch about.

Of course not. But then again, those who criticize him are also not immune from criticism.

WE'RE UNDEAFEATED....WHY CAN'T YOU ENJOY THE RIDE?????!!!!!!!?????

I kid....some people may think he is above criticism, but in my line of work, critique improves outcomes. It's healthy. I blindly accept an outcome without analyzing the process is foolish. But that just my opinion

I was just thinking that when I started a thread about an hour ago asking about play calling.
I had to edit my thoughts because I didn't want to come across as being critical

We are 13-0 for the first time in LSU history...

I think it's fair to ask questions and be critical as long as they are genuine

Of course it is.
Like:
Are you always such an idiot, or are you just doing this to get attention because nobody in your 4th grade class ever pays attention to you?

If your fans wanted and expected perfection, like say Bama, we would be idolizing perfect now that it is on our doorstep.

I think the LSU fanbase is more complex than that. It is a fanbase that is actually interested in "the process" more than any other college football fanbase I have seen. We universally care about the little things like who is running on the second and third team, and aren't above criticizing any coach if we think he is wrong. We don't rush to immortalize our players or coaches. We have some perspective. (I'm looking straight at you Tennessee and Alabama.)

I think we can criticize our players and coaches even during highly successful times because we just see them as part of the LSU family. Not as people to be exalted. (Still looking at you Bama!)

Come on man...I'm as happy as anyone that this team is undefeated! I love this team and all it has accomplished. The guy ask an honest question...he's not trolling...give him a break, no reason to try and insult him. Analyzing why decisions were made, good and bad, is the reason we have a message board.

You sound confident for a fan that has lost 2 in a row to the Hat

LSU has a more complete team this year and it's going to bite Alabama again

That's what I like about the rant.
You can be an inbred idiot from Wetumpka or someplace that got thrown out of Tider Insider for stupidity that was totally over the top even for that mentally empty board and still....still post here.
