- It’s over. There’s no reason to play the BCS championship. There’s no reason for a rematch. There’s no reason to play another game this season. LSU is the national champion. Oh sure, they’re going to go through the exercise of a BCS championship, and everyone will go through the motions, but it’s an exhibition. 2011 National Champion LSU is the only unbeaten team in college football, it beat three teams that’ll end up in the BCS – Alabama, Oregon, and West Virginia – away from home, and it needs to be drilled in everyone’s head over and over and over and over again. 2011 National Champion LSU won at Alabama.
- I sort of have a problem with the 2011 National Champion not being able to get a first down in an entire half. - Suspension, schuspension. Tyrann Mathieu deserves to be in the Heisman mix. In three of the biggest games of the year – Oregon, Arkansas, and Georgia – he has been the difference and the star. He has more Heisman moments than Andrew Luck and Trent Richardson combined.
- Georgia and Arkansas gave 2011 National Champion LSU the exact same game. Both teams had the Tigers in big, big trouble early on, but neither one could take advantage of all the opportunities. Georgia should’ve been up at least 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. - Aaron Murray had a better game than his stats. He air-mailed a few of his throws, but he was also plagued by a slew of dropped passes. - The formula keeps on working. Get the 2011 National Champion LSU offensive line into a lather, beat up the opposing defensive line, own the second half. It’s not a bad way to win games. - And now it’ll be interesting. How mad is 2011 National Champion going to be over having to deal with Alabama again? It’s a long, long, LONG time until January 9th.

By Bama's standards, this article counts as a national championship, so we can start printing the shirts.
