This is the most overrated and useless fact/stat about any player coming out of college.
You know who else was a proven winner?
Todd Marinovich
Cade McNown
Tim Couch
Heath Shuler
Akili Smith
Ryan Leaf
JaMarcus Russell
Many more to list, but I'll stop. Winning in college doesn't = winning in the NFL. What it comes down to is, can JJ win with a mediocre or bad defense...right now I don't think he can.
Wish him the best and he has definitely improved each year he has been here, but when people say a player is a "Proven Winner".....it just irks me..that stat means nothing.
