Diarse is a junior who plays both ways. Scout profile (DB, QB, WR)

He is a 2013 4 star recruit. Not many juniors get rated this early. He and Jordan Jefferson's brother, Ricky, are the only two Louisiana juniors Scout has rated for 2013. Scout 2013 LA recruits

Looks like 24/7 has eight 4 stars already for 2013.

word around Neville he is all Bama. Little Nicky calls him after every game. Would love to have him but this is what I have heard numerous times from multiple sources from those close to the situation. Hopefully Les can work his magic on this one.

5'11 offensive playmakers are dime a dozen in the South, especially LA. Diarse a great player, but like with Trovon Reed, and Joe McKnight if he doesn't want in we'll just recruit 3 better guys. It won't sting either way.

I thought Ruben was bigger, i.e. 6'2" or thereabouts.

We do seem to have a ton of 5'11" guys that can run in this state. Diarse seems to be helping his stock by being a two way player and will make some coach happy I am sure.

Yea but we hear this every year about somebody and it rarely turns out this way...It's best to just let it play out

Yeah. Per Rivals Diarse is 6'0, 202 and runs a 4.7 (was a slow track or bad time, tape is a little quicker than that).

I'm guessing the real #s are 5'11, 190, and a 4.55-4.6. Diarse is a playmaker, but not anywhere near Reu's level. I would give Diarse next to Bama every time to keep Landon. Landon is a legit can't-miss guy, best HS athlete in 5 years, hands down.

On another note, Jeryl Brazil is the truth. He's a faster honey badger, and is a legit burner. Excited to see him become a First Round corner and crush ST returns. So excited to get Brazil.

Not being negative, just an honest question.

Does anyone actually think Holmes will be good at LSU?

I do. 4.3 guy will crush reverses, make some plays. He could be an RShepard clone.

Shep was one of the greatest HS players i've ever seen. This guy gets about 3 looks a game.

Diarse is not all Bama so stop with the BS. he's a legit 6'0 200 and ran a 4.48 electronic timed 40 at LSU's camp. He's every bit as good as RR. RR didnt play both ways and didnt have anywhere near the same impact as John at this point in his career.

The BB recievers were tall and skinny. Like 160lbs skinny.

I attended the game and I agree with most of you on the players. I do think Diarse was clearly the best athlete on the field. No contest. The guy has great field vision and acceleration. I also talked to several parents and coaches and they said he is an excellent student and an even better person. Character guy. He is a must have.
Dural is probably the fastest high school receiver I have ever seen. He's incredibly thin though. He'll need to redshirt a year and put some pounds on but he will be great after that.
Didn't really see or hear much from Holmes or Louis during the game.

Why the conflicting reports on speed? Some say Holmes is faster(he is). Some say Dural is faster. I wonder if some don't know which player they are watching.

Travin can eat all the sandwiches he wants. He just doesn't gain weight. LSU is gonna put some weight on him though.
