Is this UGA defense better than that Arky defense we just mauled?

The one that gave up 24 to Ole Siss and 28 and 462 yds. to the Brick Houses? I haven't seen much of UGA, but I had heard them compared to Arky who is just horrible. Our receivers were running wide open all night. If they are comparable to Arky, we will demolish.

UGA's defense is far better than Arky's defense. It isn't even close.

They are very physical upfront. They lead the sec in tackles for losses with 91. Wouldn't be surprised to see a similar gameplan as friday. Attempt to run the first couple of series. If unsuccessful, come out heaving like we scored our 1st touchdown.

IMO UGA's defense is much better than Arky's. Arky's is pitiful. UGA has better athletes and coaches than Arky. Two things UGA's defense is not: Deep and Disciplined. That's where LSU's offense can take advantage plus our run game is amazing.

Yes. Much better.
ETA: LSU should win, but I'm glad the team won't be taking UGA as lightly as most of the fans seem to be doing. IMO, they are a significantly better team than Arkansas.

Seems like every time LSU faces a ranked team ESPN starts with their bullshite on how LSU hasn't faced either an offense this good or a defense this good. I guess they're just trying to sale this game to nonSEC fans. LSU will win big, again!

I think it will be a tougher game than Arky. Also in the Georgia Dome, likely >65/35 Dawg fans, they will be up for this game. I expect a tough tight game for 3 quarters, similar to other games this year.

That's what I was thinking from looking at their schedule. The best team they've played was Boise who beat them at GA by 2 touchdowns.

Yes, big front line but not deep, good linebackers that can cover the field but again not deep, DBs are the weak points in the defense.
Our running game will not do well in the early game, but in the back end we should eat clock and gain yards.

I have not watched UGA much this year. But I watched a replay of their game against Kentucky, and I saw many things on both sides of the ball.. that UGA better be more disciplined at... I hear they got some starters back, I dont know how much it has helped them.... but from what I observed they better tighten things up quite a bit, on Off. and Def.
