I gave Shonn Greene for Eli Manning going in to Week 6.

My QB at the time was Josh Freeman (prior to him it was a combo of Kolb for 1st three weeks, then Jason Campbell for Week 4) and he had just traded for Cam Newton a week before, so I offered it to him. He was and is the worst team in the league at 2-10. I am now 10-2. This has been big for my team.

And right before the season I traded Jermichael Finley and Sidney Rice for Jason Witten and Mario Manningham. It's been a wash so far with Rice/Manningham but Witten has been better than Finley.

We don't trade in my league. But I have made waiver moves. What I thought was odd, when I was looking at my team after last night, is that my starters are all the same top players I drafted, with the exception of my kicker, who I dropped for another guy during the original kicker's bye week.

I did drop Bradford as my back up, to pick up Grossman, who got benched, then dropped him for Kolb, who got injured, then dropped him for Bradford, who sucked, then dropped him for Painter, who really sucked, but who I played when Stafford (my starter was off), who I then dropped for Palmer, who is my current back up. Whew.

3 Big Trades for me this year- In 1st at 9-3
12 Team PPR Legue

After week 2 I got offered L McCoy for Gronk(I have Witten)and Maclin.

Week 4 I offered up Blount and J Nelson for V Jax and Helu..worked out ok because Blount got hurt shortly after.

After week 10 I gave CJoke1k and V Jax up for A Foster. Foster was on a Bye week 11 and the guy that had him was in a must win situation.

Week 1: Brady, CJ, Blount, R Grant, Maclin, J Nelson, Witten

Current: Brady, McCoy, Foster, Helu, Cruz, Burleson, Witten

I would say I Improved

Hmmm..

Traded Jordy Nelson for Felix Jones, that one didn't work out so well but at least I got Murray on waivers.

In another league I traded Jordy Nelson and Felix Jones for Aaron Hernandez and Fred Jackson... then traded Jackson for Matt Stafford & McGahee before Jackson went on IR, so that did work out pretty well. Too bad my team in that league sucks overall.

Also traded Fitzpatrick for Hillis in another league where I have Brees as my starter and that one has been pretty meh. I wouldn't have played Fitzpatrick except for one week and I've only gotten one week out of Hillis so far but it might work out down the stretch.

2 trades in two different leagues

1st was Fred Jackson for Witten and Reggie Bush, hindsight was probably a bad move as I moved him around week 5. However will help me in the playoffs.

2nd was Javid Best for Romo and Starks, trade worked out for me as I was starting Josh Freeman. Also around week 5 I made this move.

Earlier in the season, I traded Murray for Spiller.

I had F-Jax and the other guy had Felix Jones. So, we traded backups who at the time were not getting hardly any PT.

Steve Smith for Jason Witten. I had Jennings, Andre, and Colston at the time with Gates hurt and needed a TE.

Romo for Best. That didn't work out well...

Hightower, Torain, Mike Thomas for Maclin, Ward.

The only one I really regret is Romo b/c I have dirty Sanchez starting in his place. However, my depth is very good at WR and TE.

Jeremy Maclin and Jonathan Stewart for Roddy White

Jay Cutler, Jakie Battle, Santanio Holmes for Frank Gore/Maclin

Ryan Matthews for Santanio Holmes

So far my trades have worked, the Matthews for Holmes was a push basically, but I have won with White/Gore and I picked up V. Cruz/L.Robinson on waivers
