I know it rarely happens, if ever. If you cannot think of a recruit LSU lost while competing with another school, what about an in-state recruit LSU passed on that went to another state school and turned out to be very good.

Terry bradshaw
Out of state would be Marshall Faulk
Just my opinion though

He's talking about losing recruits to schools such as LaTech, ULM, ULL, Tulane....

I don't think it counts as losing out if the guy couldn't qualify to enroll.

Major Applewhite, Warrick Dunn, and Travis Minor from Catholic High hurt pretty bad.

Can't think of any in football, but basketball has a few: Karl Malone, Joe Dumars, P.J. Brown, Calvin Natt.

The only players I can think of that LSU actually lost out on to an instate school are Lynaris Elphadge, Roydell Williams and Ronald Mcclendon.

When you say lose out it implies that we recruited them but they chose a different school. Haven't lost many like that lately....But that's different than missing out on kids that we just didn't recruit.
