Corndog reference origin???

It's only been posted like a zillion times

Basically auburn fan got butt hurt and stole an insult from Nebraska fans (cornhuskers-corndogs) and applied it to lsu fans for no reason

because: as i learned below:

the smell of corndogs smell like victory in death valley.

ok, maybe i don't remember, but i love corndogs and i am sooo proud to be called a corndog.

It originated with Missouri fans calling Nebraska fans corn dogs. Auburn fans picked it up because they're too fricking stupid to think of something original.

My own theory was that when visiting fans visit our tailgates, they are greeted with the smell of hot oil due to our frying of many foods. Their simple minds associate hot oil with corndogs, because the two smell similarly.

The Nebraska thing is probably true though
