It was pretty nasty weather yesterday. Does anyone know how the field was affected?

If it causes for a muddy game, who do you think will benefit?

They have a massive tarp. And the drainage is about the best in the country. The turf condidtions will be perfect especially if they over seeded for the winter.

The field this year has looked way better than in previous year and has not received as much play as a normal year. I am sure the field will be just fine considering it was pretty dry before that rain. If anything, it may have helped it out a little bit, if it doesn't rain again before the game.

The field is dry as a bone, because it never rains in Tiger Stadium.

Now that we have determined the condition of the field, can we start the debate about how it favors our team?

I drove by it today and there is absolutely no way it will be ready in time. My brother in law is in turf management and he agrees.

You have to believe that if it is a muddy field, our depth alone would cause tremendous problems for Arky simply due to stamina. I played football for many years, and nothing sucks more than picking wet, muddy cleats up 100's of times over the coarse of a game.
If the conditions are nice and stable... we still dominate the Pigs, but then there would be no excuses.

Was on the field today. It looked really good. A little wet, but should dry out really well by Friday.
