If LSU goes to a non-BCS bowl

How many of y'all would go?
Do you think the fans would follow the Tigers to the Capital One or Cotton Bowl if they ended up there?
Most LSU season ticket holders I know only requested tickets to the BCSCG or the Sugar Bowl.

The thought of that happening:
If we happened to go back to the cotton I would probably go, but Cap 1?? Hell naw

If we weren't going to a BCS bowl they should turn the others down and go to the Indy Bowl!!!!
I know it doesn't have SEC ties anymore.

That will be a tough sell. I can't think of any bowl / matchup that would be of interest.

I honestly do not think this is possible at this point.
If LSU were to win this Friday - It is the National Whole enchilada game.
If LSU Were to lose to R-Kanas - we still have to be a top 3 in the BCS. ANd the rules at that point, as far as I can figure, say that if a conference has the #1 and #2 for the BCSNCG - then a third team can come from that conference to play in a BCS bowl.
Under this premise - Alabama vs R-Kanas = BCSNCG
LSU to Sugar Bowl.
And I am not overly convinced that we fall any father than two with a close loss to R-Kanas.
Two Cents.

You are warping the rules.
There ARE provisions to turn a team ranked 3-4 into an AQ team
But they do not apply here as an at large spot with a team from the same conference is in the title game.

Only 2 teams from 1 conference. LSU would be left out in the cold in that scenario.

Theoretically, there is ONE loophole to that rule.
Applied to this case, it would take Bama beating AU, LSU beating Arky, losing to UGA, and still be ranked 2nd I'm the final polls
2 teams in the title game, then UGA would take the SEC champion AQ spot
