My son and my bestfriedns son have been to games in TS before just never an SEC game and a huge SEC game this one has become. They are 9 and 10, my neice who is from Oklahoma and never been to a college football game will also be coming. She is 18 and sorry no I will not post pics. Any way I am planning on letting them see the band and players walk down the hill and going to get in the stadium early to watch pregame. Is there anything else that is a must see or must do? for a newb and the youngsters?

TIA

I love to just take people on a walk thru all the tailgates down stadium drive and up thru by Lockett, thru the quad and over to the parade grounds, then back thru by the indian mounds and find a place by the journalism building to watch the band come down.

I have been going to games since I was a kid and I still love to just walk thru the tailgates. I always end up seeing 10-11 people I know and end up with free food and drinks. My son is 8 and he just carries his football with him and starts a game of catch with every person I stop to talk to.

Have a great time. There really isn't anywhere like LSU for a big game.

Tell them not to forget to dress for rain, it is still possible.
