As an aside, I think it's interesting that some of the more persistent and vehement anti-Miles and anti-Jefferson posters have low post counts. Coincidence?

My guess is that we have a small but vocal idiot fan base from the smattering of boos I heard in Oxford when Jefferson started. Idiots also love to argue on the internet. There is no point in engaging them either, idiocy can't be fixed.

I think it is far fewer than what we really think. Obviously see a few here on the Rant but IMO that is a very small number in comparison to the entire Tiger nation. As the old saying goes, there is going to be a few bad apples in every crate.

We are 11-0

#1 in the BCS since week one and scored a perfect 1.000 for only the second time in BCS history.

All we have to do is win 3 more games...which I believe without a doubt that we will.

What is there to bitch about?

Dude,

That's just LSU. Get used to it, because some portion of this fan base would gripe if it was collectively hung with a new rope.

Just because you don't agree with thier opinion they are not idiots. Those that don't agree with you may think you are an idiot. Enjoy this great season and don't worry about those that you don't agree with.

I think that it's really a small, yet very vocal minority. Hell, if being 11-0 and being #1 in the polls won't make them happy, then perhaps nothing will. The rest of us will just sit back and enjoy the ride.

What % of LSU fans are being like this?

WAY too high of a %. Sad really.

This team is the best any of us have ever seen. And honestly, Jordan Jefferson is the rightful starter IMO, but it shouldn't even matter. As Tiger fans, we have absolutely nothing to bitch and complain about. Unreal.

No its not a select few. Our fan base has been divided by the QB issue since right before the Ryan Perriloux dismissal.

There has been no other issue thats really been this divisive other than the Saban vs Miles at LSU deal. But Miles has clearly slam the door shut on that one. JJ vs JLee has been the most talked about topic in regards to LSU football for the last 4 years. Back and forth, on and on it goes with no end in sight.

The redneck racist factor is a much bigger part of it than most people are willing to accept. Truth hurts.

. I'm tired of hearing the "it's not fair to Jarrett" bullshite. Life is not fair. Get over it already.

I have gotten over it.

At first I was = but that was based on my impressions of JJ over the last two seasons - and admittedly the 'worst' of his performances at that.

I had always thought Lee needed more opportunity to show what he could do, and when he defaulted into the starter this year he sure seemed to be all that I had ever thought he could be - I was totally satisfied.

Then came 'bama and JJ showed he could deliver the ball downfield too. JJ does NOT look like the qb he was during the last two seasons - he looks downright GOOD.

SO - I trust Miles completely now to put the best combination on the field at any time to win the game (don't have any idea why I ever doubted him in the first place).

SO - GO JJ - GO LEE - GO LSU -

and then, what about all the bickering about all the bickering? that's what makes me question my sanity and starts me bickering.

it's the yin and yang of it.
if there weren't any losers, would there be any winners?

it's football and fun.

but, i find it a great self analyzation to see where i stand. i basically try to balance it all like the quote: blessed are the peacekeepers.
the basic peace is with and within ourselves.
i think we are here to observe and not take sides.

but, it is always a service to point out where idiots are wrong.
blessings on all the losers that have to belittle others.

yada, yada, yada....have a great day.

Why not use these last 2 cupcake games to have both QBs sharp? They bring different skill-sets that defenses have to prepare for.
I just wish we could have used the last 2 games to help JL regain his confidence. We may need him at some point in the next 3 games.

Guess I'm a racist.

I think JL will be fine. One of the things he's shown is that he can come in cold and deliver when he needs to do it.

Anyone find it beyond hilarious that these people are bitching about a QB system that finishes with 100% completion percentage last weekend.

Alot of these MFers are ridiculous.

Look, I don't think Jefferson is that great, but if it's working, I don't give a frick who they put back there.

I'll be honest. Against Arkansas, a mobile QB is what LSU is going to absolutely need. They have problems with them and their run defense is suspect at best.

no reason to hate.

I didnt find one LSU fan in oxford this weekend who understood what LM was trying to accomplish with sitting JL.... and I asked a ton of people, college aged to older adults.
I even talked with Jaques Doucet for about 30 mins during the day about this,.. he didnt have an answer... he does this for living and he could not give a reasonable answer.

I also listened to these espnu announcers when I rewatched the game yesrerday... they make zero sense.
If I heard them say more dynamic or more explosive one more fricking time, I was gonna puke.
They basically said JJ needed to start for his ego and JL was fine coming off the bench. ...

We couldve beaten Wuk and OM like we did with any playere on our roster under center.

People just dont get what JL did to go from taking 90% of the snaps through 8 games to 5%.

After reading this board for last two weeks or so Its not hard to see the posters here that are in every single thread telling others to deal with it, or just STFU and trust Les are the same ones that wanted JJ playing over JL all along.

As I said yesterday, 2-3 more games and it ends.
Thank GOd.
