This is a hypothetical thread. We need not get ahead of ourselves. That being said, if we do win the NC, will this be the hardest road any team has ever taken to win the NC?

Was talking about this today... We beat Arky thats 3 top 3 teams we have beaten( 2 on the road no less) and we win the MNC that's 4 top 3 teams and 7 or 8 teams in the top 25 when we played them.. I'd say yes toughest road ever

Our away schedule has been absolutely brutal. Turns out all of our toughest games have been away. All of them. Two years ago, looking at this schedule, you'd have thought Florida and Auburn at home would have been tough ones. They ended up being lame ducks the both of them. We have had to overcome an enormously difficult away schedule.

And let's not forget our season opener. Toughest road ever.

Care to back that up?

We will have beaten: #3 Oregon, #25 Mississippi State, #16 West Virginia, #2 Alabama, all away; and #17 Florida, #19 Auburn, #3 Arkansas in BR, +/- ~#10-12 UGA

And would have beaten all of them with their "starters".

And then the NC game on top of all of that.

9 ranked teams. Who'd have the next-best argument?

I don't think the QB situations really mattered in regards to Auburn or Ole Miss. Auburn had theirs all healthy and chose to start their younger guy. Ole Miss could have run Eli Manning out there last night and it might not have been enough to keep it close.

very likely. but go back to kentucky 07 and see what great QBing can do for an average football team. yes, the biggest games involved starting QBs, but the 2nd string crews weve seen have eliminated the misstep game

next years schedule will be much tougher than this year. OOC is much easier, but the QBing in the SEC next year will be off the charts good: mett, mccarron, wilson, bray, murray, shaw, driskoll/brisett, franklin(mizzou), if malzahn stays at auburn, theyll be much better with another year under his tutelage. wowzers.

If anyone has taken an harder road I'd like to see the evidence. This has to be as tough as it gets.
