Please help with Deer feeder

Bought a wildgame innovations brand feeder model THX. Everything is connected, hooked up and powered. We set its times to go off and the manual says to press the test button and a 10 sec timer will go count down and it will shoot a test feed. Well when the ten seconds runs down the screen blanks and reads " Dx--T" and then does nothing. It is not noted in the manual, anyone else have this happen?

Did you set the number of seconds for it to run? Thats the only thing I can think of.

Wildgame Innovation has always produced inferior equipment IMHO.
I stick with larger name brands. never had a problem with Moultrie

Unfortunately, you'll have to figure out the problem on your own, without the help of the manufacturer. I bought a game camera from the same company and was having problems. They didn't responde to MANY emails so I called their customer service #. Was on hold >30 min while driving to go deer hunting.......they never answered. I have 2 different deer feeders from them (one digital and one analong) and they definitely don't like "heavy duty" batteries; use only alkaline. Doubt that'll help, but can try it. Last fall I bought a generic digital timer (looks just like the same timer used by Remington, Moultrie and Wildgame Innovations) from Amazon (may have been eBay?) for about $25.

Wildgame has terrible electronics. I hear horror stories about them all the time. My Dad had problems with his camera from them, and a friend had troubles with his feeder.
You may be better off just buying one of these from Academy and hooking it up to the feeder. They come with the digital timer too and work very good from my experience. About $30 ro $40.

interesting the opinions in here.
I have had several WGI cameras and the the WGI IR4 are great. An independent review at chasingame . com seems to agree with this.
I have had to deal with customer service twice previously. Once was to correct my error and more recently to ask about a malfunctioning 4 yr old camera. One phone call, on hold for 10 each time and one email and I am getting a new camera free of charge. All I have to pay is shipping of the broken camera to them.
I dont have any of their feeders though, so I can not comment on those.

Bleeding purple,
Glad to hear you're pleased w/ your WGI game cameras. My son really liked his (simplel to setup and operate, low price and decent pictures) until it broke after only one season. Do you mind sharing the customer service email you used successfully?

Slickback,
Maybe the feeders are different now, but 2 years ago I did a visual side by side comparison of Remington, Moultree and WGI branded feeders w/ digital clocks. Maybe they were actually made to different specifications, but other than the name on the feeders, they had identical appearances..... Likewise, the non-branded digital clock on Amazon/eBay had an identical appearance to the Remington, Moultree and WGI digital clocks.

I would try to call them and find out what the deal is. Otherwise just get a new motor. I'm sure you'll be alot happier.
