They are not traveling by train anymore, i really think that aspect is grossly over rated. I mean is staying in a hotel that much rougher if it 1500 miles away vs 700?

Still costs more, makes road trips for fans nigh on impossible, and makes it more difficult to watch divisional games due to the time difference. It's not crippling, but it's a definite competitive disadvantage.
