So LSU
#1
#16
#18
#18

Once again proves, computers are as objective as their programmers...they spit out whatever you choose to put into them.

Any computer that gives heavy weight to playing the best teams in the country should have LSU in the top 20.

Unless you are saying LSU should be higher?

I agree with this. No way LSU isn't at least a top 5 SOS.

These rankings are only for games played, not the entire season. I suspect they will be top five on all the list if they make it to the SEC Championship game.

Playing a 1AA team hurts you way more than it should.

If only they had played ULL instead of Northwestern State, they would be a lot higher. It makes a difference when your cupcakes are having a good season. Western Kentucky didn't help out either. They got dismantled by 1-AA Indiana State.

Collectively, the Big XII had the best non-conference record this year.

How do you think the folks in Fayetteville feel? Three of the computers rank their schedule lower Boise State's schedule. Of course that will probably change after Arkansas plays LSU and Boise State plays New Mexico.

Kansas shite the bed against GT and TAMU lost to Arkansas. Were those the only OOC losses?

Good news is you can tell A&M and Missouri their schedules will get easier.

Seriously though
Teams Ranked at this time played
LSU: 4, 24, 3
a&m: 2, 6, 22, 5, 13
Hard to argue based on rankings, however I predict LSU will play 6 ranked teams at the end of the season
Oregon
West va: will be ranked my perdiction
Auburn: 50/50 shot on being ranked
Bama
Arkansas
Georgia
Ok state

The big 12 schedule is backloaded this year, many.

Big 12 Strength of Schedule is all smoke and mirrors.

LSU at 18

Auburn #10/#7/#7/#7

Considering that Auburn is playing 17 FR, 15 SO, 7 JR, and 5 SR on their 2-deep, winning 8 games (on the premise that we win our bowl game) ain't too damned bad against that kind of schedule.

The computers don't have biases towards any particular school or conference. This is just a glimpse of reality without your purple and gold goggles on.
