UGA stats so far:

Passing Yards: 42nd
Rushing Yards: 33rd
Points For: 20th
Points Against: 12th

4th in the nation for defense. Behind only Bama, LSU, and Mich St. Murray is 12th in the nation with completion percentage....best in the SEC. Nations 2nd best in 3rd down conversions and first downs allowed on defense.

Between Arkansas and Georgia, LSU will have it's hands full to get to 13-0.

Not at all. But, we have to worry about Ole Miss THEN Ar-kansas first though.

According to slackster's BCS projections, if we get to Atlanta undefeated we will play in NCG regardless if we win the SEC or not.

Putting the horse before the cart.....Lets win the West first, then the SEC, then the NC.

They are on a tear and are definitely hot right now, but you have to consider who they are playing. They barely beat a UF team that both LSU and 'Bama absolutely crushed.

guess this is as good a time to have my first post on the TR as any

i think it could end up being a good game if we come out like we did vs AU. the key will be our special teams vs y'alls (hopefully we can just minimize the damage there because LSU's are much better) and our offense vs your defense (same as STs)

i have faith in our defense

It sucks that we never have home field advantage in Atlanta.

Take a look at Georgia Schedule

Until this past weekend (when they beat # 20 Auburn) they had not beaten a ranked team this season.

I ain't scared

games against teams like Arkansas and Georgia are teh ones that worry me, because both have accurate passers and can sling it all over the field. I think we end up seeing a similar gameplan to the one we used against WVU, to allow the underneath stuff and short passes, but make both Arkansas and UGA work and earn it with long drives, and wait for opportunities to cause mistakes.

It's your defense that worries me, though.

Anything BUT a given.....

Statistically speaking means nothing when it's for the championship....

Ask Tennessee in 2001

Ask OU in Big 12 in 2003

Let's not let (bad) history repeat itself... each and every game is a 1 game winner take all from here on out.

this week --- Ole Miss....
