He still is the same basically as a passer.

He's always thrown a good deep ball and still does. So yea, I could say his passing skills are about the same. But it's the intangibles that seem to have improved - quicker with play call, quicker getting back to huddle, quicker in the pocket. See the trend here. He was way too slow with everything he did before. The new system and/or coaches have him doing things quicker which is better. Then on top of that, he's running much better than ever before.

the starting thing doesnt bother me near as much as not seeing JL at all til the mop up scrub time damn hear half way through the 4th qrter.
I think there were 12 minutes left and he led a great touchdown drive that chewed up a lot of clock. I'll have to check bu I think there was 5 minutes left on the clock when we scored.

I would think any one with half a brain would realize it doesn't really matter which QB is back there right now. This team has been so good at every other position, the QB spot is almost irrelevent.

If you believe that a team can be so good that the QB spot is irrelevant then you, sir, are an idiot. LSU is very good but they are not unbeatable. The QB is very relevant to every football team ever. That's why people care so much. They want the team to be as good as it can be.

This meltdown really is unwarranted especially now with multiple sources confirming a team rules violation. Why can't you accept that?

Has miles been transparent about team disciplinary procedures on any other player? No.

Why do you expect him to be now?

This is what I don't understand about some people.

I still say that JJ needed more reps in the passing game than JL did (alleged suspension not withstanding) so he played more than JL.

Don't you get emotionally invested in who is at running back?

this isn't about a player having a bad game....this about having an F'n coniption fit because someone didn't start

If you don't have any emotional involvement with any player then why are you watching? Just curious how you filter that out.

because football is a team sport

It's pretty much irrelevent this year because neither QB is head and shoulders above the other. Both (and probably mettenberger too) are capable enough to not screw this thing up. It does not matter which one is playing (except against Bama of course). It's baffling that more "fans" don't realize this.

I really don't think the Bama game proved anything QB-wise. Lee had an uncharacteristic game(compared to other games this season) and JJ led us to 3 points in regulation.

This meltdown

Ok first off... its not a "meltdown"
I (and others) simply wanted to know why JL went from getting 90% of the sanps this season to 15%.

I didnt know or hear of any class skipping til yesterday.
If that's the case, fine he needed to sit.

Please tell me what game JL won for us this year?

We have won this year with defense, a solid running game and special teams. Also by not turning the ball over. JL threw 4 horrible passes against bama and had 2 intercepted. He may have skipped classes last week(not what a leader does).

Yeah but I'll bet you it matters to the 2 quarterbacks with a whole brain. I know they want to see the team win, but they want to see it happen when they are behind the center. Neither JJ or JL would tell you it has been a pleasure to be on the bench.

I knew Tigerlee would be in rare form this morning. Glad I was off work to fully witness it.
I think Miles punishing Lee for not being a leader off the field, was right. But I want Lee to get his reps at ole miss, because we may need him for points in the UGa and Arky game.

Fwiw I'm not a JJ or Lee hater. I'm a tigerlee hater.

Should Lee start against Ole Miss after such an obvious violation of Team rules and let down of his team?

No, he is an inferior QB. I don't know why tigerlee would title his screen name after the QB sitting the bench. I think TigerNall would be better, at least he played in the NFL

I dont necessarly have any problem with this.
But I do think after alabama JL needed some work too.
Apparently Les didnt agree.

He knows more than me.
