re: Ok, honest question: Would we be 10-0 if JJ had started the season?

And with that, you lose all credibility in this conversation.
If you cannot see that you are actually doing the same thing with lee that you accuse others about with JJ then you deserve to be laughed at.

I remember one incompletion being a wounded duck that luckily no defender was close to. That's where my fear of a continued "funk" lies.
i think you're thinking of the ball he threw 40 yards down field where it was under thrown by maybe a yard and the WKU defender made a really good play on the ball to keep it out of, believe it was RR's hands. i honestly don't remember what the other completion was. i do remember the JJ pass to RR, and that was a rarity for him. he still had a huge windup throwing the ball, RR just overpowered the DB. on JL's, he threw the ball before the DB had time to react and Boone got in the end zone untouched

People are putting blinders on and will not see that both qbs have improved drastically this season. Both qbs have played well in what role they have been asked to.
i don't deny that, but our passing game is much more limited with JJ. Alabama was the only team IMO where JJ was the better matchup

I don't disagree with that at all.
I'm basically saying that I have liked the role each has played since JJ came back sans the wku game.
Would like to see it go back to a lee starting JJ of the bench system again. Which I feel we will see this week.
If not, oh well. I don't make those decisions and just hope we continue winning.
I feel we can finish the season undefeated with either starting though.

LSU could have won with either QB
This is speculation.
LSU won with JJ. Fact.
LSU could've won with JL, speculation.
LSU could've won with ZM, speculation.
Well aren't you some fricking Einstein. Did your JJ newsletter come out today or something? The whole thread is speculation. It's my speculation that 6 pts isn't a helluva hump to climb over. LSU easily be undefeated with either QB as the sole recipient of PT this season.
I will make an alternative thread to appease your poor little feelings in a minute and claim it's impossible that LSU would be undefeated without JJ, just to make sure you have a better day today, k? Reading the rest of your thread, you probably need to check out Just Me's post about anchors. While most of us realize this is fairly eleementary, your anchors are pretty obvious.

Really so what would you call someone who constantly cheerleads for a qb who was statistically one of the worst in the country in 2010. Has done very little this year (The Alabama game one long completion to Shep to setup a FG the other field goal setup by Claiborne and JJ could not get one first down on the drive and one nice pitch on an option to Ford in OT). Versus a qb who has a 13-3 TD to INT ratio and with the exception of 1 game run the offense that has looked substansially better than the offense led by JJ last year!
Despite this you ride JJ's Jock!

not so sure about this. i'd bet JJ starts this week and sees most the action. he'll do well because ole miss is terrible, and he'll have regained the starting spot permanently. i just hope miles' loyalty to JJ doesn't jeopardize a national title

i also am kind of upset with miles not playing lee last week. if he wasn't suspended, he should have played. we weren't going to lose that game, and lee has earned the right to play. i can't imagine what that did to his confidence not getting in the game until the middle of the 4th quarter. he's stuck around through a lot of bullshite from the fans and the media. he deserved better than that imo. i love miles, but i thought that was wrong. he has one bad game against the best d in the country and gets benched.
LET IT GO!

In the last 7 games he had 3 games where he failed to exceed 52 yards passing and 2 of his 3 good games were with 2 weeks or more to prepare.
quote:Actually, JJ had better performance vs ULM than Lee.
I guess the good part is Jordan wont have to face ULM or McNeese this year!

how much did Lee get in the game the last half of the season? he had really one play against Bama. Nothing against Ole Miss, Arkansas, or A&M. How exactly can you even begin to compare the two in that stretch when one barely even got in the game?

so that explains his ~8 minutes of PT against Western Kentucky, a game where the entire depth chart was played at RB.

Uh LSU was 11-2 last year! So where would you put the halfway point of a 13 game season?
As for Lee's second half kinda hard to put up stats when the coach keeps you on the bench?
Maybe comparing JJ's first 10 games in 2010 versus Lee's this year would be the most equal comparison of playing time??????
But I know that wouldnt fit in your JJ narrative!

Why would you do that? People like to continue sayIng that you cant bring up lee's past history. But you can continue to bring up jj's. Why is that?
Hate to break it to you Rudy, but both qbs have made great improvement under the new offensive staff.
Why not support both and be excited that both qbs are helping lsu march to a potential BCS title?

Maybe not.....but we would not be 10-0 without him coming into the Bama game.
So, please stop the insanity.....oh this is the rant....no hope.

The thread is speculation if JJ started season LSU is 10-0. The Gump game being "won with either QB and anybody thinking different is bullshite, agenda, etc etc" isn't speculation, it's retarded.

Your "pet" not getting his due?
Using absolutes and superlatives to make things different than reality may help you get through this little "crisis" but it doesn't change reality. LSU scored 6 pts. Either QB could be responsible for that output.
You literally have to put down one in your mind, to uplift the other. Your favorite. Which is painfully obvious reading your posts through the past couple of years. LSU could be undefeated at this point with either. Or Mettenberger. It's all speculation, but its also true.
