Play of the year thus far

Is it E. Reid's int? Or another? I think Reid's pick was by far the biggest play for our season

It's really the only "impact" play LSU has had all year. That or the punt.

E. Reid's int

It's Reids int by far. Were not stopping Richardson from a yard out and then we would have to drive 70-80 yards to tie the game up. The second best play is Mo's kickoff return for a td. I know wings punt was huge but I'm stating something from a different game.

There are so many to pick from.
What you suggested is definitely in the list.
The strip TM7 did against Oregon on the kick return is there. The strip against WV is there. The batted ball in the air against WV returned for almost a TD is there.
Mo's int against TN has to be there.
That sweet play action pass from Lee to Randle in the WV game. That was slick.
The tattoo job on opposing opponents on kick returns. (See Auburn game).
Among more but I can't think of them all.
And honorable mentions have to be to Big Sam pounding the turf against Oregon and hugging the ref in the Moo State game!

Great answer! The oregon strip-TD certainly did set the tone for the rest of the season

Man, I was there and wearing my favorite shirt and almost got it ripped because we were freaking out. It was the first thing I thought of!

I would like to talk about Mo Claiborne's interception in this game. It was f&cking ridiculous - he breaks on the ball - I can't find any slow motion replay of it - maybe on Wednesday's CST replay - anyway - he breaks on the ball, makes contact with either his left hand or both hands and tips it backwards - without breaking stride, he reaches back with his right hand, at full speed, secures the ball cleanly and keeps running and looking for a way through traffic.
As ridiculous as the Bluegrass Miracle was, that was pretty close. Having said that, the Reid play was even more improbable. Reid read the QB, left his man, tracked the ball down, initiated contact with the receiver AT the moment of securing it mid-air, and at precisely the last moment before the receiver would be down either causes or contributes to the bobble, strips, secures and keeps the ball from hitting the ground.
In the span of about 5 seconds, he covered 15 to 20 yards, left his feet and did all of the above.
Ridiculous. (However, are these any more "plays of the year" than the stuff Honey Badger used to do routinely?)

Good finalist. I think the Int. on the goal line saved the game however.
All games up to this point, LSU could have survived without any individual play. There were several last night though that could be brought up

Claiborne's 99 yard kick return against WV to seal their fate

Did everyone miss the blocked field goal last night?

I think where and when it occurred is what made the INT special. No one can say the FG was even accurate.

Shelley is the short range kicker, who had a long of 37. There was no way he was going to have enough height+power to get it through the uprights
