What was the Bama kicker's field goal efficiency from the 40+ yard range ...

Tell me how this analysis is wrong:

Of the other 3, the guy's average is about 33% from that range (I believe). .33 x 9 = 3 points. Bama would have tied us at best (with statistical certainty) had they met their historical benchmark and made 33% of 3 field goals.

Period.

Further, I'd say they don't deserve the full 3 points a hypothetical statistical analysis would give them. LSU's D gets credit for forcing them to kick the long ball in the first place. And with this much on the line, you better believe your kicker has a better chance of underperforming than the opposite.

In both the real world and in some fantasy Bama universe, LSU won/would have won.
