Going forward, I agree with those who say that Lee should start and get plenty of work this week, if for nothing else, then to get his confidence back. We'll need both QBs down the stretch, and I suspect that Les will play one or the other depending on what the D gives him.

We won't face another D like Bama's. JJ is a nice change of pace and a nice option QB. He is not a starter or a wire to wire guy. He simply cannot pass the ball with any consistency.
Look at our passing efficiency numbers with him the past 2 years and Lee this year.
We need Lee to remain confident, start, manage the game and pass the ball. We need JJ to bring in a change of pace, run the option. We need both, but they need to stay in their roles.

I'd go with Jefferson. Lee lost the starting job against Bama when he returned to his old ways.

Everyone has said all year he would be needed for that game. He's suited for it. We wouldn't be able to run up the middle or pass with any consistency, we needed a lateral/option threat. That wasn't a secret.
We're going to need to go back to power I, play action down the field. Lee does that well against most teams. JJ provides a change of pace.
I'm pretty sure the body of work for both this year and last suggests that unequivocally, rantard.

If we could have run the ball up the middle early Lee probably would have stayed in or played again. But we had to stretch the field and JJ, even though I hate it, is the guy to do that. And he can complete a pass, if he would ever let go of the sumbitch.

All three qb's need to see the field, sit the running backs and throw the ball 100 times. The backs don't need practice.

So you would be in favor of yanking JJ if he returns to his "old ways?" Serious question. Then, whenever a QB has a rough go, yank them and keep doing this for the next 5 games until it's just over?
I doubt the coaching staff thinks like you and no matter who "starts" there should be some security beyond your next mistake.

I suppose it depends how much in form those "old ways" are. Since I have only seen three INT's this year, I am not convinced we are there. Both QB's have done well this year.
