At what point did you realize we were going to win?

I was preparing my self for a likely loss it seemed. That defense bama had made our qb's look silly, and before I knew it time was winding down fast and was dreading the OT, as it's usually the benefit of the home team. We won the toss, and just like that I realized miles plan and knew we were going to win because of our special teams.

I am going to find the thread of many on the rant criticizing miles for wasting scholys on kickers one year.

Miles didn't take risk because he KNEW he was going to win at the end. Saban however blew it for several reasons, one being 5'10" maze throwing for a int. I knew saban was going to try and trick us and it would backfire.

not until the penalty to start OT. At that point I knew our D would take care of business.

When Saban did not call any timeouts at the end of the fourth quarter. He settled for OT. LSU's K >> Bama's K.

Bingo. Saban was afraid to even try to win the game. This was a true display of weakness. I couldn't believe they didn't even try.

I felt comfortable when Bama decided to go to overtime. I felt we had the special teams advantage if it came down to a FG.

The Reid interception. We had all of the momentum then. In a FG duel, I knew we would win in OT.

i knew we had the advantage in OT because our kicker is already in range before the ball is snapped. i realized we had a good chance of winning when we sacked their qb and put them out of field goal range BUT i honestly did not realize we were going to win until i saw that damn ball go thru the uprights. this game was a nail biter to the extreme.

When I saw bama was settling for OT I knew we had them where we wanted them especially when we won the toss.

after the penalty for 12 men in the huddle...for real. there wasn't a soul (even in bryant-denny) who thought he was going to make that field goal, let alone a longer one with McCarron took that sack.

i questioned whether or not we even needed to run any plays when we had our turn in OT
j/k, but i definitely knew we weren't going to do anything stupid like pass.

I knew it when Saban had a minute left in regulation and didn't try to do anything against our defense.

When alleman's kick split the uprights in OT. Not being negative here but there's just too much that can happen on the snap and set, for whatever reason romo's hold in the playoff kept playing in my head.

When I knew it was going into overtime I felt we had a great shot. I knew it would come down to field goals and that is one area we have Alabama hands down. When we tackled McCarren for a loss on third down in overtime, I knew we had it. I said before the play that if we got a tackle for loss we would win the game.
