How many drives did we have that started or had an untimely penalty?...which each and every one of these drives resulted in having to punt.

How about the stupid dive call that cost us a TD in the first half? All we had to do was take it outside and easy 6...and heck we win 7-6...Miles is stubborn sometimes.

Alabama did look better on offense than we did, I give them that..

In part, I totally understand why they feel the way they do today...As a competitor it's understandable.

I wish LSU looked better on offense...It was ugly..but I will take it, everyday of the week.

if we played them again, JL would do much better and we would score more points...

A win over this Bama club in T-town is impressive.

If they say "we are the better offensive team", maybe.

If they say "we are the better defensive team", maybe.

But to way that they are the better "team", WRONG. As long as the "team" includes special teams, LSU is more complete.

Hey-its okay. Let them be the better team-I'll take being the team that wins the game over the "better team the beats themselves" anyday!!!

Every Tiger opponent has beat themselves.

Tigers are really 0-9.

I can't imagine why they would want to root for Arkansas, if we lose to Ark. there is no way we rematch with Bama. I think the only way we play Bama again this year is in the NC game if Ok.St. and Stanford lose.

Of course if you play mistake free football and execute each play perfectly you obviously will win. Making miscues is part of the game and lot of miscues are caused by the players on the opposite side of the line. In every game you lose it's cause you did't play perfectly and made mistakes. So saying if we hadn't done this or that we would have won is conjecture at best.

Saban's coaching decisions--calling for unmakeable FGs, calling a trick play when you are moving the ball with Trent Richardson, not trying to preserve clock with 2 mins to go and "playing for OT" and the horrible play calling in their OT series--cost Bama the game.

He was outcoached (again) by Miles. Saban is a good coach but he's not better than Les.

it's nice to finally see it printed in black-n-white--coaching decisions that Saban made would have caused universal howling and gnashing of teeth if they were called by Les. But Saban is an unquestioned genius, so it draws a big, "Meh."

Man! This is a classic statement by LSUChicageaux. Evidently Chicageaux knows alabama fans.

The article is spot on about everything it says about Saban. Outcoached. Call a pass (and take a sack) to move you out of field goal range in OT? When you have the all-but-anointed Heisman Trophy winner RB? Kicking unmakeable field goals rather than pinning the other team deep with a punt?Half-back pass for an INT? Definitely outcoached. CLM would be beaten up by the media for these things, why not Saban?

Again, Bama lost at home. Losing at home in this year's climate is probably a death knell for Bama. I agree with Herbstreit that if LSU wouldve lost, you give them a little more slack and LSU would have a better chance than Bama has of being ranked ahead another undefeated team by the end of the year.

I would give them the offense maybe - not the D

the LSU D vs heisman TR and co was much more effective than
Bama D vs LSU RBs and co.

In fact they held TR to just 10 more yards than Bama did Ford.

Add to it the multiple stands inside the 30s and the final OT sack - there is no q

LSU D was definitely better in that game.

I can't wait to hear all the crying about missing all the field goals. Like most college kickers make 50, 49, 53 and 45 yard field goals like they're extra points. Were they even in the red zone all night?

We were out-schemed, though.

"It was like the verbal version of the LSU punter and kicker, the most insanely cocky special teams duo in the country..."

Best line.

So what's their excuse for not even having 100 yards rushing? Bad field? Migraines? Cramps?

LSU neutralized TR...thus ballgame
