Too many chances taken and questionable play calling.

It's just a shame that the best defense in Alabama's history won't get a chance to cement a legacy.

Maybe we'll find a kicker at some point too.

The team who knows how/when to utilize their FG game won.

The team with the better D AND better O lost.

It is our best defense ever too. Good luck with the rest of the season!

You're wrong.. they did have a chance. They just weren't good enough. Your defense had the chance in OT to man up and shut down LSUs offense.. and you got gashed on a big run by Michael Ford.

.. At least you admit a victory for an undefeated team warrants a best team mention.

I hate that when a kicker gets blamed for a loss. Those kicks were from 47-50 yards away, you dont really expect those kids to be able to kick those do you? I would agree if they were within 30 yards, but 47 yarders are really too much to ask aren't they?

Whatever helps you sleep at night. People seem to forget that special teams are part of football too. It isn't luck that Alabama's kickers couldn't make kicks and LSU's could. That's part of football.

I'm not going to blame a kicker for one FG. But he missed three. And none of them were even close. It's been ongoing problem all year with him.

But would the greatest Alabama defense of all time get gashed when they game really mattered?

Definitely an amazing defense, though. Upshaw.. fuuuuuu.. I would love him on the Saints. Hightower too.

He was asked to kick multiple 50 yarders though. That's not fair to ask of any kicker. That's an NFL kick.
