Now that we won't have to hear about TCU or Boise (thank God) or even Houston, who do the anti-BCS types start fapping over now? What team's PJ's do the Tim Brando's of the world start wearing?

The new CUSA stinks. The new MWC is the old WAC, which means it pretty much stinks. Maybe, just maybe, we won't have to hear about it for a few years.

It will still be Boise. Big East is going to lose that AQ status in no time flat.

There will never be another Boise... that was amazing. I would say Hawaii, Nevada (until Ault retires) or maybe Fresno (when Pat Hill retires). ECU gets about 50,000 fans at their games, but they so underachieve.

What I think will happen is you will see rotating "Houston's." It will never be the same team twice, but every year there will be an undefeated non-AQ team.

Boise. Now they will just rape the Big East with no Syracuse, Pitt, or WVU to stop them and the national media will cry for them to be in the national title game every time they go undefeated. The Big East will be no better than the MWC, except for having a BCS spot due to legal reasons.

some MAC team.

the year before the BCS came into play, a MAC team went 12-0 and was #6 in Sagarin and beat two Big ten teams in the regular season, both on the road. Their QB is now the QB of Pittsburgh Steelers.

Actually, it will be interesting to see the BCS actually pull and auto-bid away from the Big East. It is unprecedented and will be interesting on how its done.

Since 2004, Boise State has had four perfect regular seasons and they're working on their fifth. I just don't see another school having that type of sustained success in the non-AQ conferences. There's no logical reason Boise State should have been able to do it. They have no storied history or tradition, they have an endowment of only $62 million, their football budget is ranked only 89th in the nation and they are located in the most barren recruiting grounds in the country.
