I just looked at ULM's schedule. Good Lord, no one is going to show up to watch ULM play Middle Tennessee at 2:30 in the afternoon. That's about as bad as football can get. They'll need the booze.

This will not end well for them.

EXACTLY. I wouldn't go to a ULM game unless there was booze. Now I might actually go to one

Nicholls State started selling this season also after the first game.
Pretty awesome that you can buy beer at a college game even if they are not playing that well.

Where did you hear this? Awesome if true. Most people just keep drinking in the Grove...maybe now these people will come into the gates.

heard it from a couple of students, I always thought ULM drinking policy was pretty strict but after talking to some of my friend I now know it isn't that strict at all

The night before should be a first round home playoff game for WM. I wonder which game will have a bigger crowd. I am dead serious. ULM football is in rough shape. This is a good move on their part.

That's an easy one. Wm always outdraws ULM.

Considering a large majority of LSU fans are drunk when they go into the stadium, serving them more alcohol during the game might lose that notorious home field crowd, as they would pass out midway through the 2nd quarter.

I really do pity the folks that live in west monroe

I was at the last ULM game. No idea they were selling beer. Where? I went to the regular concession stand and saw nothing about it.

i wish we could be just like them

It's more about ULM being garbage. The Bayou Jamborees has the biggest crowd at ULM Stadium every year. People support winners.

I've been to games all over Louisiana and ULM is down with SELA as the worst experience of the bunch. LSU is king, but ULL, Tech and McNeese games are good times. ULM has zero student section. I am not sure why they play big time FBS ball. They are more like Northwestern State in terms of support. Slightly ahead of Nicholls.
Hopefully booze will change that.

If they sold meth they would get better attendance.

When you say "LSU", you actually mean "SEC". It's an SEC policy, and completely out of LSU's hands.
Just sayin'...
