LSU hangouts/parties/bars in birmingham

Got some friends going up for the game but are looking for things to do with other LSU fans in the birmingham area.
Anyone hear of any? or locations?

Do not go to Innisfree unless you are an Alabama fan. I'd try the Cajun Steamer near the Galleria on 459 or New Orleans Food and Spirits on 280.

Not good if you mean fun people. Most UAB students I met were not fun and never noticed them as a group out and about. UAB is located in the heart of downtown so it is hard to discern their "hangouts" from the local bar scene.

Lou's Pub in the Lake view District will have quite a few LSU fans. That would be my first choice.

Fact Lou's Pub is a good LSU hangout in Lakeview it's a bar very chill nice bartenders very friendly etc. not gonna be a raging type atmosphere more pregame/get away from the crowd type joint...Innisfree is like Bogies for college grads and a gump hangout but still good time. Usually has a live band with a lot of women good place to rage, but gets sooo packed. Lakeview has a couple of bars all within walking distance. Nana Funks is next door to Innisfree and is the late night spot with lots of rap/dance music(stays open till 6 AM)
For food hit up Cocina Superior in Brookwood Mall owned by the same folks that own Superior...big LSU hangout for food and day of the game. Excellent patio and a ton of tail here also.

Innisfree in Tuscaloosa was packed with LSU fans in 09 before, during and after the game.
